Acquisition of Devon Self Storage, Memphis, Tennessee
Watson & Taylor, in partnership with Highlander Partners, LLC, announced the purchase of Devon Self Storage, 2700 Getwell Road, Memphis, Tennessee on July 13,2007. The 754 storage spaces are included in 77,765 rentable sq. ft on 12.6 acres of paved area facing I-240 at the intersection of Getwell Road and American Way in SE Memphis.
The property has been renamed Getwell Road Self Storage in recognition of the historical and geographical identity of the area. Features of non-climate, climate, mini-offices, business center, garage parking, covered parking, and open parking combined with the outstanding location of the property offer a unique benefit to the local market. Over $1,500,000 of capital improvements will be executed over the next six months, dramatically improving the presentation and functionality of the property for the community.
