Watson & Taylor Management, Inc. is a commercial real estate company based in Addison, Texas that acquires, manages, and develops self-storage properties. Founded in 1973 and wholly owned by George S. Watson and A. Starke (Tracy) Taylor, III, both of Dallas, Watson & Taylor is widely recognized as one of the leaders in the self-storage industry since developing its first property in 1978.
As of March 31, 2006, Watson & Taylor owns and operates 30 self-storage properties located in six states and aggregating 2,037,162 square feet and 14,299 units.
The Company also owns and manages two retail shopping centers aggregating 175,686 square feet in the Dallas area. Watson & Taylor has owned and operated over 78 self-storage and office-warehouse properties in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Germany, and Belgium and, more recently, North and South Carolina and Hawaii.
The Company continues to be identified as a "Top Operator" by Mini-Storage Messenger Magazine, ranking consistently in the top 40 operators in the nation for over 20 years.
